Thank you every one for sharing your experience's, it has certainly been an eye opener with all the scams there are out there. I had no idea there were so many.
It's really good to hear about them, and be on the look out for them, like I was with the Wedding Ring Scam.
It just goes to show you that you really have to have your wits about you the whole time when you travel.It is sad that these people do this for a living

That Video was funny, I love English humor. Where do you find them?

I had one in Bern a couple years ago.

These two 20-30 year old guys were walking together and one was talking on his cellphone. It caught my attention because he was using sentances and generic lines which could not have been a phone conversation.

Suddenly the other friend makes a b-line to the right and doesn't say bye or indicate he's leaving. The guy on the phone doesn't even show the slightest reaction. Which also caught my attention since they were obviously together.

I continue to eaves drop on his now totally non-conversation on the phone absolutely confused and interested--for a good 3 mins. Then I feel a tugging on the zipper of my backpack.

Having worn a backpack in the halls of Junior and Highschool--you know when someone is trying to open your backpack from behind. Startled I just around and yell 'what the fck', to see the other guy right behind me persumably caught red handed. Sure enough there was a train ticket pulled halfway through the slightly opened zipper. He caught up with his distraction buddy and the two took off quick.
