There we go..now we're talking. | | | | | No were not. Women like unwrapping presents and getting classic gifts. Yeah, it's the thought that counts but really that you "thought" enough to realise she wanted something chic and expensive to show off to her work colleagues the next day.

| | Re: What can I get her ? | Quote: | | | | | Ladies, I need your advice. Its Mrs G s birthday coming up very soon and whilst I have got her lots of little prezzies to open on the big day, I need to find a couple of girly things as well. Has anybody got any ideas that you have seen in the shops recently ? | | | | | What are her interests?
Small little things can be blu-ray DVDs of her favourite movies for starters? A handmade voucher from you for a foot massage, a home cooked meal? A nice scarf from H&M to warm her for the upcoming winter? A nice pair of earrings? If she has a charm bracelet, new charms?
For most of us girls, its the thought that goes into it.

My sincere logic for asking Ladies their opinion was in case , as is usually the case, the ladies of this forum had noticed any new things in the shops recently that might make good "extra" presents. What I naively hoped to avoid was commencing a back and forth on who knows women the best. I have got some very suitable gifts for my missus without finding out what to get from an agony aunt, but Im not up with the latest high street accessories that girls might well be.

Another issue is, that we don't know anything about your missus and therefore, it is somewhat hard to determine what gifts are suitable for her...and lastly, you should have known better than asking advice on this here forum...it's right before a holiyday..and even economisto is out trolling people. |

The fact that CH is a little behind the times has made the job harder thats for sure, but spookily Grynch s idea wasnt so far off the mark and a couple of tickets for the next classical concert here in Geneva shall be working their way into the Barbie card asap.

Along with the Thomas Saba idea how about a Pandora charm bracelet, Pandora is in the Uk as Thomas Saba is in Switzerland
i.e common as muck in the UK but not here - and Thomas Sabo vice versa
Christ Jewelers on Bahnhofstrasse upstairs sell them

I would like a trip to the parlor. Some manicure, pedicure stuff (girly things right?) And its summer, time to show off our sexy feet. A break from house chores. A fresh bottle of my favorite perfume would be appreciated too, even though i hardly use it. A romantic dinner without the kids. Not all of the above, maybe two will do.
And ladies never get enough hand/shoulder bags.
