The physical appearance interests me very little, as it doesn't last, and is just a matter of luck - and can be changed in an instant by a wayward match, drunk driver, genetic disposition, etc.
*no, i dont want to sleep with him!!

| | Re: wish me luck? | Quote: | | | | | i've been with the org. I currently work for for 8 years.. but on a temp. basis.. each year a new contract ( first two years 6 months at a time!! )
today* I have a 2 hr. exam on rules and regs. which may lead to a permanent appointment.
wish me luck? | | | | | | Quote: | | | | | in France the tradition is to wish someone "merde" (shit) before a test. The origin is also from the theatre/acting world: when a play had big success there would be a lot of horse-drawn coaches in front waiting therefore generating a pile of shit on the street.....good sign indeed at the end.
That was our 2sec cultural moment. | | | | | If I'd have known these two things earlier, I would have happily passed by his doorstep, this morning - as I'm sure others would also have done.

Merde! (not being rude honest- it is what you say for good luck! /equivalent to 'break a leg'). Looking forward to know how you got on (flying colours I'm sure).
