Are you a lucky person?

I think on average I have always been lucky.

But then I saw this... http://www.flixxy.com/lucky-day.htm

Re: Are you a lucky person?

Try this...

Basically the guy was down on his luck, bought a scratch ticket with his last few dollars and won a car.

The news got hold of it and asked him to "recreate" the win. He goes, buys another ticket and hits another jackpot...

No results. Try broadening your search words or checking your spelling.

Re: Are you a lucky person?

Does it get any luckier than NOT having two jet black cats (twins I think they were as they looked so alike ) simultaneously NOT walk across your path or what?! So nearly happened to me the other day.

They were busy playing in the grass and as I approached them whilst walking along the pathway, both stopped dead still and just looked at me as I walked past. With our eyes firmly fixed on each other - so to speak - I was in two minds whether to break into an attempted sprint to minimize the risk of them doing so but luckily for me it was not needed!

Phew! Good job I don't believe in any of that black cat and bad luck stuff eh?!

Re: Are you a lucky person?

It is not luck, it is statistics. Some people survive accidents and others don't. Somebody has to win the lottery. It is just a case of being in it to win it.

A lot of the time you can sway the odds in your favour. If you buy a ticket for the lottery, you have as much chance of winning as you did the last time. Whether you won or not doesn't affect this.

Some people may seem to have more good luck. This is usually because they do more to alter their lives. e.g. One lottery ticket a month won't give you a lot of chance of winning the jackpot. With 20 tickets a week, your chances are far greater.

Re: Are you a lucky person?

One should not tempt luck in such reckless cases. It is wiser and safer to seek good fortune in daily life activities, such as fumbling for forgotten coins in the receptacle of vending machines or hoping for an interesting encounter in the Thai massage parlour that you frequent.

Re: Are you a lucky person?

Some of those people in the OP's opening film were actively stupid!!!! Oh, sorry, intellectually challenged.

They caused some bad accidents (or nearly did)!
