I see supplementing both omega 3 and omega 6 mentioned in this thread, and would like to clarify something around that. We do need both, but at a certain ratio. Omega 6 is very stable, but omega 3 is rather unstable, and therefore in general (almost) not present in seeds, from which most food products are made. Breeders over the centuries have actually unknowingly selected against the omega 3's by selecting for good storability! Therefore we tend to get more than enough omega 6, and to balance it is wise to add an omega 3 supplement. For this I would recommend krill oil, as it is lower in the food chain than fish oil, and therefore is less polluted and also not contributing to the overfishing.
