Hey people, occasionally I get random stuff that I need to post somewhere, but I've been unable to find an appropriate place for it ... if you're the same, then this is the place for you!!

Friend is looking for property, and came up with this gem: out in the sticks southwest of Sydney, looks like a drug baron's compound, all they want is $6 million ...

Perfect! - 'cept for the location - a bit far to go on a Saturday night, and get home from on a Sunday, in time for work on Monday...
But in principle, it looks like the perfect place for EF events..

At the current exchange rate, this place is asking 4.8M CHF.. as there are 67,000 members, (with an average income of 120,000chf per annum.. of course)

cor.. thats only 71 chf each!! Make it 75 chf to cover repairs after the first party...

The thread is not just for houses being for sale ... but the ridiculous bits about this particular house are the price & location!
Well, those and the style not quite matching the neighbours' houses ...

Everyone should feel free to post other ridiculous things that grab their fancy!
Of course, there are specific threads for many ridiculous things (eg, headlines, jokes (good & bad), youtubes) but I just couldn't find the right thread for that house ...

If people get stuck in a rut here I may rename the thread, though!

Any house from Engel & Voelkers would qualify. Their prices are a joke.

That would suit me just fine.

Apparently it only has one garage. That is a major disappointment so I won't be making an offer

We walked passed it the other day - it really is very nice but for 10.5 million, I really would like a lake and mountain view (and more than one garage)
