30 days in the wilderness

now… I gotta tell you kids… that IS a book…I picked this up one day, about a month ago in fact, and could not put it down… it was almost like I was there, living in the wild, eating nuts and berries, trying to find a way back to civilization.

Errr….ya…. something like that

Yeah I know........ but in my defense, I was one of the "700 treated foot injuries" at the street parade....... Japanese safety boots just don't cut it

(it's going to be a GREAT scar though)

Sorry mate, if you still can't see it, it was just the cover photo from the movie "Into the Wild"

Re: 30 days in the wilderness

Sorry, should explain, Japanese safety boots are what Aussies call thongs. Which are what the english call flip flops. It can get a bit confusing.

Yes, and Australians find it perfectly acceptable that children go to school wearing thongs and carry a rubber* in their pencil case

*a rubber is an 'eraser'
