Re: Do you prefer being married or single. Why?

Right now I prefer being married, but I had a lot of fun once whilst single. There is another category too; that of being in a relationship, but not married.

As a matter of interest, what is your preference?

Re: Do you prefer being married or single. Why?

OK, so let me get this straight:

a) if you haven't been married, you don't really qualify to comment on the benefits of marriage
b) If you have been divorced (perhaps numerous times), it isn't likely you will be defending the marriage corner either
c) You are married happily....... of which something like 50% of you will end in divorce at some point.

If this was a sporting event, odds are the "single" team will win.

( ....... but I always go for the dark horse)

Re: Do you prefer being married or single. Why?

Am happily married for almost four years, but sometimes i also miss being single. I have a very different character and background from my husband's family. So sometimes being married means I have to give in to some of his family members and not having things my way like when I was single

You've left out

d) widowed
e) living together

Having done c,d, and e, c and e are the best!

Married: I enjoyed being single, but by Bunjoss, being married is better.

Can you believe that I used to have to make my own tea?

Also, in a country with fixed rules of inheritance, marriage is a must.

I have been married -> divorced -> married now. I would say that if you find the right woman, married life is great, otherwise being single is better.

I prefer being married. I'm married to a wonderful man though and that obviously makes a huge difference.

Re: Do you prefer being married or single. Why?

I had a blast when I was single! My life as married woman is completely opposite to my life before. I do miss it when I think about it but my life today is more complete, more everything! Except partying, which I don't miss nor dating either actually...

But I do miss the attention of the opposit sex though...

Re: Do you prefer being married or single. Why?

Of course, having a harem is the best of all ways of life for a gentleman.

My cousin Suleyman keeps a small household of 22 concubines. They are expensive to keep, but variety, as my cousin always says with a sly wink, really is the spice of life. He might have a Circassian girl on a Monday, an Epirot girl on a Tuesday, then a brace of Wallachian girls on a Wednesday. Thracians, being feisty, are good for a sweaty tussle, while the doe-eyed maidens of Serbia bring out the poet in him. At weekends, he sups with his boy and sleeps alone. A man must have his peace, after all.

I'd wager it took him a while to teach them all to make a decent cup of tea, though. It took long enough for me to train my one wife...

Alas, always seemed to much trouble for me.

Now, a bunch of submissive chicks into S&M on the other hand...
