Would never have thought of that, they look pretty good. Now to create an ex so I can have a new wardrobe .

Only joking (he's bound to read this). Will steal the ones he doesn't wear anymore.

Re: Ex-men's shirt as new dress for you

Thank you. This is great. I practised for half an hour and decided to wear my partners shirt instead of buying a dress. Definitely a money saver.

It just doesn't work the other way round. If the wife comes home and finds her husband wearing her dress, all sorts of questions would be asked.

Re: Ex-men's shirt as new dress for you

Hmmm. I think this may be one of those ideas that works best if you are on the slim side AND the shirt's owner is built like a Sherman tank.

My man's shirts on me just look like... shirts. Shirts worn funny. As though I'd tried to put them on, given up halfway through and only tied all the loose ends round each other as a despairing afterthought. The effect produced is less "sexy vixen robbing her man's closet rrraaAWWrr" and more "why yes, I did get dressed in the dark this morning, why do you ask?"

I tried it the other way round. All I could manage to make was a pair of ill-fitting underpants. And a sock. With holes in.

Seriously.... you've got to have breasts that stay up by themselves to wear that bra-less. Not many over 25 can get away with it.

Mathnut that was
I'm sure you do look lovely !

Re: Ex-men's shirt as new dress for you

I wonder how many EF ladies have rushed off to borrow their man's shirt to try this out. Haven't done it myself yet but will give it a go tomorrow. The thought of us all trying this out has cheered me up no end today

Re: Ex-men's shirt as new dress for you

Some very cute ideas there - it would be fun to hop into a Big & Tall men's store to check out some of the patterned shirts to see how they'd work for dresses.

Where is the nearest B&T men's storefront (so they could be tried before bought)?

Well there is no way I would go anywhere near a man's socks or pants no matter how good they look on a super model on an Internet video
