| | Feeling low
hey guys,
sorry bit of a self indulgent one, feeling really low today, cant really explain it, but it happens periodically where I feel despite everything being seemingly ok in my life that I am sinking.
I know its not the place for it to talk about depression but it has hit me really hard and I dont want to burden my fiance with it or family as I am always the go to person when they are low.
Anyway, probably just need a big dose of Man Up but cant help feeling shit
Hope I havent brought a downer on anyones day but advice is very welcome...
cheers
J

If your case is just a case of the blues, you could try http://icanhascheezburger.com/ http://www.passiveaggressivenotes.com/
for a laugh.
You can go out see a stupid movie comedy on the cinema and cry if you need to, in case you hate worrying others/ fear being called a pansy.
If you are work/love/home/dog/family sick, go out with a patient friend and just let it all out. Just be careful to spill your soul to the right friend...
If your case is a clinical depression, a recurring one or the beguinning of one, consult a doctor. Those ones are nasty and there is no LOLcat to make you feel better.
Hope you feel better soon!

Go out for a walk, watch a funny youtube clip, count your blessings, eat some fruit and tell yourself you are an incredible person.
And keeping telling yourself how incredible you are til you believe it.
Tomorrow will be a better day.
PS: And send me some green blobs so I can thank you. Then we'll both feel good! :-)

sorry to hear your feeling low!
i think everyone gets that once in a while. personally i think its because of the whole not being in your home country issue. (well it definatly is for me!) How long have you been in swiss land for?
i get it from time to time, where you just cant seem to get yourself out of this really miserable rut. but it does go away. as hard as it is just try to think of the positive things that you have at the moment, maybe go for a walk and just try to clear your head! or have a big bar of chocolate and watch crap tv!!
is there anything that you think brings it on?
keep your chin up though, things could be worse! |

J | | | | | Welcome to the club.
Same thing happens to me as well from time to time.
I just get drunk. That usually works.
Or find a funny bunch of people and get drunk with them.

J | | | | | Sorry you are feeling so low, I have my moments too, unfortunately I come from a family with a history of depression, though since moving to Switzerland I am mostly a happy bunny. I think giving up my job helped, but obviously that isn't an option for most people.
I find exercise helps, I love to run outside through the woods listening to uplifting music, try it, especially in the sunshine, or just put on some music at home and jump around to it.
Despite what you say about not wanting to burden your loved ones, I think talking things over with them does help, give it a go, you can't always be the strong one.
In the meantime, wishing you strength and hope you soon feel much better, you are not alone. x

Even Cowgirls get the blues.
Share it with your fiance. It might make her feel like you need her as much as she needs you. | Quote: | | | | | hey guys,

I reckon its that storm hanging around Geneva that does it. Lots of people feel the effect of storms. Some friends get headaches too.
You will find , as Grynch suggested, that the quantity of beer consumed relative to the intensity of the storm is a direct presssure relief system.
Youll be fine.
