Is it just me, or are the producers this year trying to squeeze a tear out of each and every audition? I lost the number of times I've teared, or maybe its just the hormones.
It seems to me that they've done a lot of changes about who they feature on the show at all, showing way more talking between and about the judges as well as a lot more talking to whomever they're going to show... with a lot less singing.

So, after last weekend- what do you think of Lascel Wood? His cover of Use Somebody is amazing!

Check him out:

Re: X Factor 2011-2012

X Factor this year has stepped up a gear in being crap car crash TV. Hating the tear jerker VT's before the acts which spoils the guessing game of crap or good as the VTs are always for the good people, hating Kelly's OTT American tears - Louis is the same, Tulisa I quite like and Gary is eye candy but too much of a sap.

Some great auditions however but the format needs to be less American and more British again - it makes me want to vomit between the auditions and kelly's vomit inducing tears and critique

Re: X Factor 2011-2012

The blondie from Up the Boro should win it.

As for the VTs pre-empting it - they're only gonna be good if there's a baby picture in it

Xtra Factor actually covers it better IMO but I'm f***ed if I'm watching both.

And lay off Kelly, if I get her then I'm one degree of separation from .............

Re: X Factor 2011-2012

I am sorry but all the shows I have watched have been between awful and terrible. Do you really want to pay to listen to these contestants? Why can't they stop putting these talent-less ego seekers in front of me? Is there any point in rewarding mediocrity?

The one saving factor were the honest comments from Simon Cowell, and he was booed many times.

This one?? She is amazing! If she doesnt at least make the judges house, I'll scream!

I finally caught up on those backdated episodes - Gary looks as good as ever and I have another favourite on my list!

Bring on bootcamps next week!

Re: X Factor 2011-2012

Apparently (according to the Daily Mirror http://www.mirror.co.uk/celebs/news/...5875-23427487/) one of rhe boys has been sent home after losing his voice.

Rumour has it that it is Lascal Wood. Would be a great pity if that's the case as he had a pretty good voice.

GUTTED THAT JOHN ADAMS DIDNT MAKE IT!!!

On the bright side, Goldie has pulled out of Judges Houses! At least she has more sense than Wagner:

I was watching with my daughter last night and as they were announcing the oldies we agreed that Goldie would be the new Wagner, then Johnny Robinson would be the new Wagner and then Terry the scaffolder would be the new Wagner. At least we're down to two new Wagners.

And what was with the boy Luke? He was terrible in the first challenge and got through, they didn't even show him in the second challenge and yet he's through to the last eight boys. Something fishy going on here.

Terry was pretty good in his first bootcamp audition. Did anyone notice they never shows the hipster at the end in this audition singing.

Did anyone else cringe at the lyrics of most of the songs the 8 groups sang?

Awful, awful, awful ... "I miss you like a child misses its blanket..."

So funny!

I am wondering when they're going to break it to Louis that he is actually on X Factor and not Britain's Got Talent. What kinda freak show is he running there? Truly horrific choices. And all that wearing of his Ray Bans indoors was kinda weird. He really has to go next season.

All is forgiven though since Gary got Robbie in for judges houses. Would be great if they booted Louis and replaced him with Robbie. Now, that would be interesting TV.

Re: X Factor 2011-2012

Freak show is the right phrase all right.

Robbie is probably too big for this series - his personality or star power might kind of take over.

They made the show worth watching, the rest of it was rubbish.

Especially Louis Walsh. That man is losing his marbles I tell ya. I would have picked Sami in a heart beat. Cant believe he picked her over Goldie.
