Long shot - looking for accomodation in Ft Lauderdale over Xmas / New Year 2011-2012

Hello, I am looking for a 2BR/1BR plus convertible rental over Xmas/New Year 2011-2012 in Ft Lauderdale (4/5 people) . In case your secondary home is available for rent, pls mp or respond, thank you very much.

Generally that time is a slow period in Florida as many folks actually head north for something that looks more like winter for those holidays.

Have you tried looking for vacation rentals in that area online? Unfortunately it's about 3hrs south from where I'm more familiar but up in Daytona & Flagler Beach areas it's generally not too tough to find places available then. (Of course, Ft. Lauderdale may be a little different as Daytona and Flagler are actually cold then so the beach is less of a draw)

Try a few websites, this one looks pretty decent as you can plug in your criteria (dates of stay, how many bedrooms, how much you want to spend, additional features like if you want pets allowed, pool, etc) vacation rentals .com
