Re: The "school run" in other countries

One of my French students went to Cambridge on a school trip 2 years ago. They were supposed to be hosted individually in families, but 3 of them stayed with a very strange woman. They were transported in a white van, 3 of them asked to sit in the back amongst tools (no seats, no belts of course). The next day they realised the van is normally used to ferry the dozen or so Chinese workers who lived in an old caravan in the back garden!!! Sadly he didn't take a note of the address or took pictures- so little I could do on his return to complain. The school refused to come forwards with info.
