This is pretty mild stuff by Cardiff standards. Was there for the Heineken cup final, and all I will say is "what has been seen, cannot be unseen"

I can confirm that there is both life and night in Cardiff.

Cardiff is a City like any other in the UK on a Friday & Saturday night but I cant see how you can judge it from a visit on a cup final day when all the football "fans" have taken over.

In my experience a night out in Cardiff is a happy occasion where there are lots of (friendly) drunks and there is lots of mess in chippy lane (it's a fast food street what do you expect?) but I can say I've always felt safe there.

Rightly or wrongly it is the way the UK is: go out not wearing much, drink until you collapse and finish the night off with chips and cheese

Do you have the chips and cheese before or after collapsing though?

I agree with the comments above this is more a reflection of the UK than Cardiff itself, most city centres look like this on a Saturday night, try Newcastle for instance..

A great night out but looks like a nuclear weapon has gone off at the wee hours of the morning.

Erm and I have a lot to thank Cardiff's miserable weather for, it's where I fell for the other half, white top torrential rain...the rest is history...

chips and cheese can be improved tremendously by the addition of a generous helping of raw onion rings and a dab of Heinz.

I know, isn't it just brilliant ? Night's out in England are bloody marvelous and anyone wanting a great experience of life during their "soclializing" years should get themselves to Britain. It's great.
