Something In The Water?

OK, WTF is going on?

Is there some weird bug infecting EF and EFers at the moment? Between the T&Cs "outrage", folks deleting of other folks' userids, the rash of "new" weird people, there's some Strange Sh1t Happening, and no mistake.

And I don't just mean Strange, I mean Seriously Strange...

Am I the only normal person left?

If it were my forum, I'd shut the whole thing down for a week. Seems to be circling the drain a bit.

Re: Something In The Water?

All the January 2011 starts are coming out of their 8/9th month with their "I HATE IT HERE AND EVERYONE'S SILLY IN SWITZERLAND" kind of rants.

8 months seems to be the "go nuts" cut-off.

It'll be all right in a couple of weeks and we'll be onto the countdown to Christmas / annual moan about the hochnebel.

Re: Something In The Water?

I know what you mean: I left a harmless little rant on the forum yesterday morning, had a bit of to-and-fro with a slightly dim member who takes everything he reads literally, then went off for a lovely day out watching cows walk down a hill in the sunshine.

I came home to find a thread full of rage and vitriol, closed for its own safety.

It's like 28 Days Later, but with slower zombies.

Worrying... (but I'm sure it will pass)

Don't suggest that.

You could put Mike out of business with malicious rumours like that!

My excuse could be that I tried some of Alex James' new 'Cheese blankets'

I've been here for two months so I'll apologise in advance for my rants around next March time.

Re: Something In The Water?

To sum it up...mimi deleted summerrain, DB and assassin are going at it, grynch wrote the second thread about me within a short period of time and I'm being suggested for a mod.

Ok, I'm packing my stuff and running for the hills...this whole 2012-end-of-world-thing is more serious than I initially thought.
