Thank you for the excellent definition, Nil. I shave every day, shower everyday, wear clean clothes only and never ever leave the house without making sure I have deodorant on and smell OK ("OK" as in "I don't smell", more than as in "I smell nice, mmmmm"). My hair is clean and always trimmed, but:
- I don't think I want to know what a pashmina is
- I don't own ANY beauty products, except for soap, shampoo, deodorant and shoe deodorant.
- I stay away from anything creamy like it's the pest.
- I would feel privately humiliated if I was to spend more than 5 minutes deciding what to wear to any occasion.

So in brief, no, I am far from it, but anti-metrosexual and clean are not exclusive definitions.

Hand cream makes a great barrier cream to protect your skin if you're going to work on manly projects such as stripping down and rebuilding a gearbox or car engine.
Makes the hands easier to clean afterwards.

Bleeding, cracked and oily hands aren't exactly a turn-on for the ladies.

I'm definitely not a metro! As a matter of fact, I dislike lotion, chapstick etc. On the other hand, I do keep myself extremely clean and well scented...I actually take pride in smelling fresh and clean all the time.
