Re: Word of Today

antidisestablishmentarianism

to be honest, I had to read it twice before I figured out it wasn't a chemical compound.

Re: Word of Today

Suave

the tone alone makes me think of cashmere woolen coats, very old whisky and the courtesy and style of gone days...

....must be autumn...

That makes it even niftier.

Par contre, both suave and nihilism I am not too fond of..Not sure why, if the slickness of suave, somewhat pretentious or the alibi nature of nihilism..reminds me so many people liking so say how zen they are, before somebody eats their candy..

Alibi is not so sweet..maybe it's the connotative meaning, unfair to the term itself.

Re: Word of Today

What is that?

I grew up on termix, which was basically mixed up quark with jam or chocolate and cream. Aaaahh.

Ah, I see what thermomix is. Is it good? I need a kitchen thing, just lost my kitchen aid.

Re: Word of Today

Individuality and ethos are awesome. Sunshine and friends are too, I am fascinated (by the way fascination is a fab thing, curiosity, the ability to be surprised and caught off guard is so needed..thanks for those thoughts) how we pick random words from the palette of mundane conversations and routine talks, thoughts..We highlight them, give them a new shade, new space to be considered. A personal ownership. It's like offering little cakes mom used to call her favorite poems.

Poetry, love and discipline it is tonight.

Re: Word of Today

I just read your word, sitting in the conservatoire lookin over the lake, listening to all the melodies I used to torture my profs, family and neighbors with..amazing how they transfer across the cultures.

I second melodies and tunes, language being one of them, with just a lil extra stuff added.

That and impatient. And challenge
