eusocial

If there's something better than intelligence (and/or intuition) it would be adaptability.

Write

I can no longer write.
How to be genuine when all that may have been felt and lived seems to have been felt and lived before and transcribed in such beautiful ways ?
The only novelty as a reader of other feelings would be the perception of my time.

It seems to me the smallest most precious common denominator in this existence is feeling, from which no man can divide himself.

I like what you wrote..People nag about emotionalism but since feelings often dictate the angle we use to differentiate our perceptions, it's all data. All interesting..If it's genuine, write or say all you want, I will always listen.

Otherness. A good word.

It must be, it was in a book, some kind of debris after a plane crashed. I just couldn't visualize it.

Gentle is cool. I also like gentle in good ol' books, as noble, or aristocratic. Since I think all the people always hoped their aristocracy were also very gentle and reasonable with their peasants.

I love lit.

Ok, so it is literariness for now.

Re: Word of Today

Horizon. Or, horizons?

I think I like the plural better, points more to the metaphorical sense. So does scope of vision. I wonder why some deliberately limit their scope of vision, maybe it is necessary in order to stay focused. I will try to limit mine, getting up hours before dawn is getting evil. Dawn.

Here is one of my pre-dawn tunes

Re: Word of Today

I was so happy to see the snow piles this morning, indeeed, Sky.

Xmas is coming, skiing, sledding, skating and all the cookies. Melancholy of the fall will turn to a complete festive party times..I do like melancholy, though, it is pensive and good. Good, quiet and contemplative.

Re: Word of Today

But do we need melancholy for renaissance MC ?
As Fall slips into Winter for rebirth ?

I'll select peaceful hopeful kind friendship for today.
A good dose of that would be wonderful.

When discussing with a friend I once knew, I mentioned the subject of how to define friendship. He came up with a delightful response:
It can't be defined.. because then you'd have to look it up on Google to see what the rest of the world thinks
....and then you'd be biaised by the descriptives and definitions.

So friendship, .......but without a definition.

Re: Word of Today

I do enjoy soaking in other people's definitions, they are so personal, they tell you a lot about the owners..

Melancholy is a positive thing, that's what a lot of kids and innocent souls exude, nature does too.. That's the antipole of whatever excitement one swap it for, love that rhythm of exchange, when times of pensive, calm melancholy blends into energy and glee.

Friendship is really hard to define, I agree. Friendship is whatever meaning one contributes to it, loyalty, sharing, love, interest, effort, investment, rituals, but also space, tolerance, support, honesty, lack of conventions, etc.

And then you got those with 578 Facebook friends..

Re: Word of Today

Facebook that place with so many people.... yikes !!

I do prefer sharing a steaming mug of coffee at the kitchen table, with a red and white checkered tablecloth and the sun peeking through the lace curtains. You settle down with a contented sigh, pleased to see smiling eyes and you say: So, tell me, how have you been ?

And it doesn't really matter what is said
And it doesn't really matter what day it is, or how many years have gone
Time shouldn't be measured

Uncounted hours for tonight, so that the pretty moments last

Re: Word of Today

My word for the day is one of my very favorite words...

Apsara.

A female spirit of the clouds and waters in Hindu and Buddhist mythology / a celestial nymph, typically the wife of a heavenly musician.
