Re: Word of Today

Today's word: bibliography

Bibliography of medieval primary sources
In other words: frustration, archives, references-which-have-changed-over-the-years, beauty, awe, looking-for-a-needle-in-a-hay-stack, and.. what time is it? really?, gee I need new glasses.

Knees.

I've become much, much more aware of my knees over the last week or so. Mainly because they spend so much of their time on hard, cold kitchen floors...

Self-pity.
It's counter productive, but sometimes I get carried away.

Re: Word of Today

Daunted.... it's lonely and lovely and so overwhelmingly impressive.. just daunting
Nostalgia..... it feels right, yet I'm so unsure of myself
Quiet...... always
Hopeful.... for this first road I had kept for another day, I did return
Accepting.... life as it is

Hope you don't mind, I have 5 words this time.
Well, 6 actually..
Amores.. Ovid, and Cicero and others, ...but Ovid ? oh for the life of me, I never thought I would

Re: Word of Today

Sure sure. 6 or more.

Today, it is docimologue. Very not poetic. So exact, like a catholic boarding school a friend went and their homework at 5am. I get up earlier, wish I had some nuns around keeping my morale up.

I can't chose between a bond or solidarity. I wonder if one conditions the other in some ways.

Re: Word of Today

Scriveners, scribes and poets.

I love their world.
Every novelty promptly disqualifies the platitude of real existence with its finding.
I feel like a tmesis caught between two words each with a distinctive definition, and I, attempting to make my own.
