Multi-criteria. I gotta multiply them even more. It's satisfying, though. If I wasn't half asleep.

Re: Word of Today

Knackered is a good one, I can relate to. Hectic times, cerebrally and logistically, but it can inspire, too, if turned positively. Results refuel. Filtering input at the mo.

Culture Shock
I feel like I've travelled to an extraordinarily beautiful exotic country, where everything is very different. It looks like home, it feels like something familiar from long ago, I could speak the lingo.. yet I didn't have a blueprint, I just couldn't exactly understand the parameters.. I didn't have the references I needed to understand.

Do we emmigrants ever belong anywhere?

I understand. But I think it is not bad to not belong. Not because I would like to stick out, that is anoying. Not belonging just makes it easier to belong to oneself.

One can only relate to others after figuring our how to belong to oneself. I find those who don't belong to easily defined groups quite inspirational. Hard to figure out..going aginst the grain, requiring some work to see who they really are, not afraid they do not offer the usual comfortable stereotypes.

Go for it.

Conventional and moderate. I think neither are at a start of something new.

Re: Word of Today

You are very right.. conventional and moderate lead to endings, not beginnings.

You need words like will, trust, inspiration, connection and interest for beginnings.

That smells of high expectations, though..these nice things are the best to just let slowly creep in on us. I'd say, good for beginnings is adventure.

Inspiration is an omnipresent craving. Yes.

I need more patience, the fall is good for it, summer makes one too giddy and antsy. The fall is magic, sweaters and leaves, sirups and jams. We made so many this summer.

I understand, good it worked out!

Ice-cream party. Why don't these things exist for everybody, I have no idea..It's so fun to put together. Kids bake cookies for ice-cream sandwiches, make the most over the top banana splits and milkshakes, throw candy glitter on top. We need to start the school year a bit crazy.
