Thanks, Odile, it is an awesome word indeed.
Sky, it is an otter, I love them. I do like beavers, no matter how mean they are to trees, these animals are so clever, otters, beaves, badgers..my ultimate still stays prairie dog. And his bigger cousin, capybara.
Things are so hectic, I am in a study group spread across continents, it really helps. But having some like minded souls at least a few hundred miles closer, counts as well. Motivation. On all fronts. Up and at it.
Love the beginning of a new school year.

When little one is a bit older- you'll have to come badger watching in May, when the cubs come out and play 'King of the castle'- brilliant. Got a large sett in the woods behind our house.

Volontariat is indeed a good French word | | | | | I'll gladly volunteer to relieve anyone of their Hang Drum!
I've been hanging in there for sooo many years, trying to find one (at realistic prices) Speranza...

| | Re: Word of Today Gloak. Ok, so, I have learned this and I can't remember where. I think my US family offloaded this word on me. I do have a feeling it comes from German, though. So - why only few know this one? Whatever it is spelled
And, luck. By sheer luck I will get to hang with one of my study group members tomorrow. Our study platform spreads across the globe, it is fun to actually run into somebody being here for a few days, and, being into music and all. Yes, day 11 - we will still carry on with our 3mo bootcamp, just in person
It's exciting.

I procrastinated a little bit this early morning with my studies, hopped off to a nearby farm for some fresh milk and chelidonium, my skin savior. What a lovely efficient plant. That word and herbalism for today. |

Chápu, if in Czech means "I get it", "I understand", "I see". It's a word to show agreement and sympathy, more often than not.

Jezevec would impress me. Habu - written - definitely not Czech.

No, he asked me to taste his absinthe (which he distills) and give him my opinion. I got straightaway there was another herb than usual- but could not guess which. Today someone mentioned 'picos' from Slovekia, and when I asked if that was the herb, he replied 'habu'?
His OMG gin with wild juniper was amazing And the only guy who makes decent absinthe in Czech Republic - not the artificially coloured stuff!
