Do you make your own, MC? That does sound lovely for a day like today!
I can but I think the amount worth making would clog my studious brain, hahah. I need to stay focused. Lemon tarts here are great, not always tangy enough, but still a lovely treat.

Imbue. I read Dan Ariely, he inspires. His last text was on "imbuing our other than 1st kisses with more meaning".

I don't think I have ever actually used that word in speaking. Let's insert that word a lot today in whatever is being said, and let's think about the other than 1st kisses.

To encourage a positive outlook for the day- ebullient

(also appropriate for the weather since it has a root in boiling and bubbling!)

Re: Word of Today

That' a great word.

I think mine for today will be sassy.

It is not a word I particularly like, Urban Dictionary refers to sassy as "possessing an ungodly amount of cool", which I think just translates to impolite but hot and tolerated, conceited. Not sure. I think I want to figure out.

Scorchio is a new one for me!

I think my word today is versatile. Great concept and it just glides off the tongue.

Scorchio is one of those new words that pop up all the time these days that really annoys me!

Re: Word of Today

This phrase crept up recently in a conversation, what an un-appealing mouthfeel it leaves after.

Let's fix it. Think of words.

Languid is a good word. I just saw it in a magnetic poetry set and wondered how much it gets used. Unrushed.

Re: Word of Today

Are you alone at this literary party MusicChick?

I'll throw in "fenestron" because I deal with them daily and people keep on misspelling it or just don't have a clue.

Tough one to throw into an after dinner conversation mind you. Unless you're in a hangar.

Re: Word of Today

I wasn't alone at a sky party, hahahah...but here it seems a bit dry. Thanks for the fenestron, I will go duely check since it sounds like nothing I know..fenestron, electron, metronom.

Aah, ok. Fan in fin? Nifty. I feel like that sometimes when I have too much to do.

Tail.
