Re: Word of Today

There is a phase I remember some tots just being stuck on the "no" word, for weeks and relating to everything. I wonder if they deeply dive into critical thinking but don't think so. Owning their ability to oppose.

Being contrarian isn't so bad..shakes up the stale affairs. Then, though, if social cohesion or popularity is your priority, you won't get anywhere. And, "no" to all without providing alternatives gets boring. A bit daft.

I think I dislike "yes, but.." it is almost always just a polite "no".

contrarian

No to everything old in our lives that came without thinking. Or at least "Wait, what? Why?". A no can turn into yes eventually.

Was thinking about religion and traditions in the EF context...but I don't really believe that the ultra-religious and traditionalist types will ever question anything. More like talking to myself...
