Well since I am a house husband at the moment I have time to reach out to other gamers in the Basel area. Maybe even setup a expat basel gaming club thingy!

I am console gamer (not wii)

PSN is now sold but if you want to check me out I believe monkiemurdie is my tag.

I did have a wii but that is also sold plus I hardly ever played it.

I wanted to meet with other gamers in Basel area and expand not only my gaming but also local contacts, with some social drinking, and of course playing online!

I have always been into games but I find myself drawn to tactical co-op shooters. Such as
Operation flashpoint
Ghost recon
TC games in general

Currently playing BF3 I suppose you could find me on battlelog and message that way! Incidentally has anyone set-up a BF3 platoon for forum members??

and of course MW3 is due so I suppose the same question applies through elite or whatever there equivalent is next week providing we join multiple clans/groups

Anyhow I ain't getting myself spawn killed here so I best get back to playing.

Started retrospectively going back through the mammoth PS thread! prob go back about 600 posts.

Q is that a general console gaming thread when talking about console games? I mean i can see it's definitely got PS3 specific titles and network chat.

Do EF have a cross platform platoon for BF3 yet? I don't wanna set one up as I ain't a regular, since I just joined, plus difficult to tell if your a member without GT or origin id.

I guess that leads me to point 2 do we want one?

anywho I have my clan on PS3 so, don't really mind.

My Xbox shan't join me in Basel until January, and I'm more of an RPG kinda guy.. but figured that I'd cross-post here looking for board, card, roleplaying gamers. I'm getting a small group together (fingers crossed, up to 3.5 people..) if anyone is interested.
