| Why the aggression then if you think everyone is entitled to their opinion? Link to the blind cries of the artistic geniuses would be nice, no? Or is this just a subjective emotional rant that insults anyone else who think differently to you.
Photographs have to be visually recognisable, why? To make you feel better and at ease with what you see and think photography/art is? And your understanding of creative is most people's, really? Any proof? Or are you just referring to this thread? | |

Let's briefly refer back to the OP

So let's say, right from the start...... the thread IS in fact about people who "don't" like this photo.
I think I have made it clear that I think the price tag of the photo is an absolute JOKE, and haven't insulted other peoples perception of it at all....... in fact, NOBODY in this thread has said how awesome this photo is.
Photography is awesome - Yes
Art is open to opinion - Agreed
Is this photo still crap and NOT worth a cent let alone $4.3M - Absolutely.
Provide me a reason why this photo stands apart from every other photo EVER taken ( as it's price tag would indicate) and I will take your opinion into account.
Don't bang on about peoples "right to their opinion", I'm very aware of that. That doesn't answer why the photo should be embraced as a piece of art. I'm interested only in the photo, not the philosophy of art.
If you yourself don't think this photo is incredible - then stop defending it.
If you think it's great, then PLEASE tell me what it is "I can't see"...... I would really like to know !!!
If you go back to post #28, and see the change in the thread title, you will see that I did in fact take my otherwise 'narrow' opinion elsewhere to humiliate and destroy....... but it got merged back here, so.... deal with it.
I'm not writing agressively, I just don't have time to check what I have written....... sorry
