What if population could be moved (Map)

Funny idea: What if the world were rearranged so that the inhabitants of the country with the largest population would move to the country with the largest area? And the second-largest population would migrate to the second-largest country, and so on? The result would be this disconcerting, disorienting map:

Re: What if population could be moved (Map)

Wow, good thing the Americans don't have to move. If we went through with this plan, do you think the average American would even notice that something had happened outside their borders?

China would, no doubt, find some way to bring their cheap exports into the US via a giant bridge over the Bering Straight.

Pakistan would stop all of its border disputes, as it has no neighbours...

And Indian call centres would suddenly ask us questions like "How can I help you today, eh?"

Switzerland is in what is today Myanmar, so there'd be less skiing and fondue, that's for sure.

For anyone interested, there's a larger version of the map here: http://i.imgur.com/c6Agr.jpg

Israel moves to Greece.
Turkey still borders Syria

Ireland stays put - with Tunisia as a neighbour.
