Today around 16:30 I was driving out of Zug & saw a commercial airliner flying way off the normal flight path for Zurich airport, with it's undercarriage down & at a very low altitude being shadowed by 2 fighter jets. I've checked out various news sites but can't find any information on what was happening. As it was such an unusual thing to see & I am a nosey cow I was wondering if anyone knows what was happening.

Could be a photo shoot. I know of a large commercial airplane company that uses old fighter jets as chase planes when they take pictures of their aircraft.

I had first hand experience watching 2 British Harriers (RAF) get permission to try out a new onboard weapons locking system on an large cargo jet. I was quite a sight watching them follow this massive civilian jet
