Well in many cases (especially with women) beautiful people have gotten special treatment their entire lives and have never had to develop any actual personality.

Many 'non-beautiful' people have not had this preferential treatment and thus develop superior personality, humour, wit and on top of that, the ability to notice these equivalent in others through visual cues and sub-obvious signs.

spot on

(too short, like me)

"Are beautiful people lonely?"

In fact on. I am immensly popular and go Great White shark fishing with the "Dos Equis" man (as you know him) once a week. We hold fabulous parties (The Heineken adverts are based on them) and save children from poisonous Monkeys in the far east twice monthly.

So to sum up, we show those mother feckers how we roll.

Re: Are beautiful people lonely?

My experience with very attractive women is that they are admired, gawked at and hit on by men multiple times every day of their lives. This goes on for many years, decades even, allowing them to hone their attractiveness into a sophisticated weapon for getting what they want, and it usually works. I have been a sucker for this tactic more than once in my life , particularly quite recently at work.

The problems for them come when other women become jealous when they see them getting special treatment and attention from men. Also they will often have multiple men chasing them who are then not at all pleased to see her flirting with other men. So I guess it's like wielding a powerful weapon of attraction while navigating a relational minefield. Sounds stressful.

Ultimately they lose their looks with time, and hopefully have developed other ways to bolster their ego, or at least have bagged a wealthy man. I hope I don't sound too negative here, but I just went through this with someone at work, and if I know knew a year a go what I know now I would have avoided her like a grenade with the pin pulled.

Not so sure about that Karlos....as I stated before, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In addition to that, there are many factors contributing to the overall attractiveness of a person. One could be charm, charisma, their smile, how she dresses..etc. This being said, the way you described that "they loose their looks with time" is simply not true.

If you were her lover then you would still find her attractive. It is like ageing of wine. Brigitte Bardot is an amazingly beautiful person inside and outside. For her age she is not bad

If I myself was 77 I would not be romancing 18 year old girls would I? Briget is almost 80 years old so it is common sense that she won't look same as when she was young.

For example in the eye of a stranger my wife would have looked hotter when she was in her 20s compared to her 30s but for me I find her more beautiful now. In my eyes her beauty increases with each passing year. I think that is what LIB was trying to say.

Well, admit it, you also love Bardot because she'd give chickens the vote if she could.

but when she was young, rich and had the world at her feet, would she have given average joe the time of day?

I liked her even before I became a vegetarian but yes her speaking out for animal rights made me like her even more.

I sense someone being bitter.. Don't be hard on her, so you got sucked in her insecurity games, happens.

It's hard to navigate stuff like this, seems like. I wouldn't share stuff about work here, A. sounds like bragging, ok, so you got hit on by a hot flaky bimbo, B. for work environment sake, you have no idea who is reading this, C. for your partner's sake, innit.

Don't be harsh on chicks aging, we all are gonna get there...

Besides, there is this Czech version of BB I prefer better, so far she is aging gracefully (means, she is getting hotter, hehehe)

Re: Are beautiful people lonely?

Guys, that's just plastic surgery, doesn't really count..

Dunno. While we are proud of battle wounds and wear them as honor badges, I guess nobody wants to wear their wrinkles that way. It never really bothered me, looking young can be a major biatch in certain situations.

Hello, being carded, being addresed as nanny of your own kid all the time, people tutoyer me constantly, janitor reamed my butt in front of everyone in the last Czech school I taught since he thought I was a student, please, God, gimme some hot wrinkles..hehe..
