Special sentence (correction) - EN

Hy guys...

I have a short, but very important (for me) question:

"Great brothers arise from great moments"

Is this sentence correct? What are the mistakes? And how should my sentence be correctly?
(great brothers in meaning...great friends or really good friends). The thing I wanna say is, that people become friends in special moments and in a next step they are like brothers.

Is the form "arise from" right? And does it make sense in the sentence?

I am very grateful for every answer and help.
Thank you very much

Re: Special sentence (correction)

I would probably say: Great brothers are born in great moments. But hey, I'm not a native!

Yeah, "great brothers" sounds bizarre.

I agree with the "born from", and would suggest using "brotherhood" to connotate abstract, unless that defeats your underlying message.

"Great brothers arise from great moments"
Personally I think I would re-phrase it to read 'From great moments arise great brothers' or perhaps 'From great moments arise strong brothers'.

I can see (I think) what you're trying to express, it's not easy to put into words.

Quite honestly, I find it difficult to understand why anyone needs a 'correct' English sentence, when native English speakers don't know what is meant by it unless an explanation is added.

Re: Special sentence (correction) - EN

first, thank you everybody for youre opinions. Hm....I see, everyone got an other opinion and maybe there is no "correct form" to find in this sentence.

Hm...If I can take this sentece like "great brothers arise from great moments", an I know what it should mean and what stands behind...it should work.
If there are not really false words and horrible grammatical mistakes, I probably take it as it is ;-)

Thank you so much
