Apple can't call the "iPad" iPad anymore in China.

pretty crazy - Apple apparently just lost the right to the name "iPad" in China.

Shouldn't this be in general off-topic, as the content doesn't pertain to TV/internet/etc. in Switzerland?

(mods, please move the thread)

Man, the Samsun tablet looks like an exact copy of the Ipad. I think its a damn shame that until Apple came out with the Ipad no one else dared dream about producing something so innovative. I guess Samsung is playing their cards right with the Chinese government.

This has pretty much nothing to do with Samsung. The 'iPad" trade mark owner in China is Proview, a PC monitor maker.
