For me the thing I am actually looking forward to most of all is to see friends and family at home that I miss a lot.

Just get it - and then take a class / join a group which will help you "see" things in a more skilled way, then it will justify itself.



As for me... I'd like hubby to pick out something for me on his own, rather than his mother getting it for him to give to me. It doesn't even matter what it is, a pair of socks, cheap earrings, a coffee mug and some coffee, whatever. Knowing he's gotten over whatever angst he feels about getting a "wrong" gift will be plenty.

actually i'm very considerate as we have an agent provocateur that just opened up here in lausanne and i wanted something special from there...which of course would also be a gift to hubby how else could i justify paying so much for so little ?

That was a sad story. When he got out of that hospital they had attached his waist to his lower jaw.
