No need for that: I got to second place purely by being a complete twat.

Shows how pointless the whole system is, really, doesn't it?

of course, if you got your blobs earlier, it was easier since the reps have since been capped to a max of 5 each time.

5 rep per repping, not 5 reppings per post.

Indeed.

I would trade with you, since I could care less...like, for some bass line tutorials, or, gasp, recipes, kinky images, uhmmm...needlework tips? Lit tips and philosophy debates? Anyone?

Hmmm...it's not like I care much either way, but I think he only likes doing that for folks who housekeep intensely. Months. Every waking moment. And don't feel like being offensive nor have the time and mental stamina to actually return..

Happy holidays, to all, I haven't figured out what the kosher way to wish yet, since I haven't been officially Jewish for long enough

I'd have traded that a while back. I was desperately trying to learn to play bass guitar. I got as far as the intros for My Sherona and Man on the Moon before I gave it up as a bad job.

Wuss. That's what I say. Pick it up again.

It's not like we all have to play like Pastoris or Minutement, seriously. All it needs is soul. And not tripping over the cables, everything else is a matter of presentation. And a bit of sense of rhythm, pitch, it pans out after a while. Or maybe I am just a genius, eeeek. Not really, but guts help, that's for truths.

I guess not having the manual dexterity of a Pooh Bear helps though.

When I briefly moved to bass (part time), my goals were the bass solo from "My Generation", the the bass part from "Karn Evil 9" (plus some "Yes" stuff).

Been there, done that, moved back to guitar (though I still love doing the bass for "Boris the Spider").

There are certain measures that might help, I would have to talk to mimi about this.

Ok, where's Adrian and Nil ?
Then we're all here and can have a top ten feel good hug

The freakiest issue about the rep system (and it actually makes me think twice before posting my usual absurdities) is that some people believe you know what you're talking about
