Sad PC Christmas!
 

:msnblush: Before you comment on how sad my life must be that I am on the forum seeking PC help on Christmas Eve, I will usurp you by agreeing.

Still, for me the big day is tomorrow and tonight the fun of preparing which which brings me to the point of this post. I want to delete all the info on my laptop so that it can become a gaming laptop only! Then tomorrow there will be enough space for all the goody computer games that Santa will bring.

Now, as you will have already noted I am no computer wizard but know a lot of you out there are and if you answer me then you're more addicted than I thought (joke of course). So how do I get rid of everything, expect windows, which I hope I can't delete. I've already buggered it up so I want a clean slate.

Just re-format and re-install windows.
There are programs that you can install which will turn off all unnecessary services etc and keep the OS lean , just for gaming.

Laptops do not make very good gaming machines.

Usually there's a way of resetting your laptop to factory settings. Google the make and model and "reset to factory".
