This was snapped in my pre CH days, they are likely to be asking for more booze... aliens like beer....

Re: Do you believe in Extra-Terrestrial life?

-Is it necessary to know or merely believe (the basis of religion)?

-Do we recognise there is only the Universe in which inhabit? Could there be other Universitas? (not sure about the plural of Universe)

-Are Mars bars an aliens favourite snack?

the granularity and precision required for life to have formed on earth is so mind boggling that although it's not likely that the same set of circumstances to have occurred elsewhere, the probability that lifeforms elsewhere have evolved has to be high given the sheer volume of matter out there and taking into consideration the number or permutations for the conducive conditions; light, heat, water etc.

Yes and No. Do I discount the possibility that life could exist out there? "NO" I don't discount it.

Is there any actual evidence to support the existence of green men like seen in Hollwood flicks? "NO" there is no evidence so far (btw fake crop circles does not count as evidence)

Here! You cheeky monkey

Do I disagree with people who think that there is actual solid evidence to support the existence of little green men like seen in Hollwood flicks? "YES" I disagree with them. There is no evidence so far (btw fake crop circles does not count as evidence).

Re: Do you believe in Extra-Terrestrial life?

Well, I certainly do. Not talking about alien abduction but many years ago in my past when I was alot younger. I was lving and working in Australia as what is commonly called a "Jillaroo" ie: a girl working in the outback riding horses round the paddocks (fields about 500 acres each) mending fences, checking on livestock etc etc.

When I was returning late in the afternoon heading back to the homestead station (Ranch) and I was with some other guys I notice in the sky about 1 mile ahead at about 10,000 ft give or take a few feet, a silver cigar shaped object that was moving slowly across the sky, after watching this object for about a minute, it suddenly stopped in mid air and appeared to be waiting for something. Usually in the woodland area behind me there are usually parrots and Kukaburras making loads of noise but at that moment it was deathly silence, not a whisper, even the hoses we were riding pricked the ears forward as though expecting something.

The object then tilted 90 degree on its center axis and shot immediatly upwards and dissappeared into the sky at some incredible speed. Too fast for any earthly or man made object of that time.

This was on a sheep station just south of the Queensland border in NSW Australia.
Later that night there were many reports coming in over the radio from Townsville and Cookstown in Queensland being reported by police, air traffic controllers and many citizens throughout the area of multiple lights in the sky flying in formation in several small groups. As it was dark people could not make out whether they were single objects with multiple lights on single craft with just one light source.

I learnt then that there are many things in the known Universe and other being from distant worlds is not so crazy a suggestion. For me I believe and would wish to come face to face with some. Unfirtunately some are supposed to be not so nice to look at or very friendly. But would like to meet the friendly kind.

For all those that managed to read all the way through my true life story, I do not care whether you believe or not. It is an individual thing. So please do not send the ambulance around for the funny farm.

Also we do not need to wait until Earth has the means to travel through space at light speed. Why run for the bus when you can wait for the bus to come to you.

Cheers.

How old were you cat then? I believe that the event occured but I am not convienced that it was what you think it was

Get my drift? (Btw I am not making fun of you in anyway). An incident happened to me once that would have convinced me about existance of ghosts. Luckily I had the balls that night not to close my eyes or run away. On close examination it was not a ghost What our eyes and mind show us are not always the reality.

Yes I am aware of things not appearing to be what they really are. The examples above are a typical example but when you see something with many other people weho concure with you that they also saw the same thing. Then either we were all suffering from mass hypnotic hysteria or we really did see what I described. By the way I was 18 years old at that time and pretty level headed about most things.

Thanks for the feedback, but I choose to believe in what I saw as being factual at that time. Does also not explain why all horses were jittery and the birds had stopped makinbg any noise until the object had completely gone, then they started up again.
I guess the horses and parrots were also seeing things as well.

catch my drift.

Re: Do you believe in Extra-Terrestrial life?

I am not trying to prove you wrong. You are free to believe whatever it is that you wan't to believe. Yes there was an object in the sky and yes everyone saw it. Does not mean it was an UFO of the alien variety. How can you say that it could not be a naturally occuring phenomenon?

For example lightning balls is something we did not understand before but now it's a scientific fact ( I am not saying that it was what you saw). Normal lighning was considered divine anger now we know it's nothing like that.

The reason I asked you about your age was because by 18 one gets already fed with myths and hocus pocus stuff. So the animal silence etc could be just simple coincidence but your mind linked it to the "thing" you saw. For example it could have been a Harrier jet that was still and then took off...a weather ballon that was still but had reached end of it's life and just shot off after developing a hole.

What is stopping the Aliens from showing themselves to us properly? Why is it that all these UFO are supposed to be cigar shaped/disc shaped? These aliens need to sort out their designers and be less camera shy!

Get my drift

Re: Do you believe in Extra-Terrestrial life?

Hi Bambi.

Again you suggest other quite plausible explanations.
But even a Harrier jump jet which I am not sure was even in service at that time ie: 30 yrs ago still make a terrific noise even hovering in mid air. The jet air rushing out of the directional air ducts which provide the hover cause quite alot of noise. The Harrier jump jet is certainly not for stealth.

A weather baloon as far as I am aware does not travel horizontally but usually vertical. The weather conditions on that day was hot with little or no wind or breeze. If is was a baloon that developed a hole and started to move vertically, this is also not probable. Have you tried make a very small hole or just letting a party baloon go letting the air out iut does not go vertical straight up but more side to side and up or down.
This object was traveling vertical at more than subsonic speed.

Regarding thje designers of spacecraft, remember a disc that rotates is able to offer less resistance when travelling through the air and provides the best means of cutting through the earths gravitational field without overheating as it does with our own rocket systems.

Having different designs means thjat there are more than one species that may be visiting this primitive planet and like all species including man designs evolve over time and are constantly changing.

Ciao

Without going into too much detail let's just say that I saw a muslim lady in full body gown hovering outside my third floor window. It was 2am in a part of the world where even without supernatural crap nights are scarey as hell

Add minus temperatures, mist/fog, wolf and dog howling for effect :-(
It was the scariest moment of my life. Teenage days were fun It was all an illusion due to windows from neighbouring houses kind of reflecting/projecting the lady on to my window. The lady was doing stuff in her kitchen. I get goose pimples thinking about it The windows were scarey in itself unlike windows found in the west.

Before you ask me what the lady was doing at 2am in the kitchen? Go and bloody ask her! It was their religious type of event so I assume they had late nights...

Edit- Even though I don't believe in supernatural stuff I just closed my open balcony door :-) Btw plenty of people in my family have seen "supernatural" stuff including UFO. I don't buy it though.
