Dominant species? penguins or polar bears

Why are there penguins in Antarctica but no polar bears?
Conversely, why are there polar bears at the Arctic but no penguins?
Same s@#t climate.
Is it because the polar bears ate all the penguins that once lived in the Arctic and the penguins
ate all the polar bears that once lived in Antarctica?
hhhmmmmm!

Re: Dominant species? penguins or polar bears

Its because the polar bears cant cope with the cold!! It gets colder in the Antartic then it does in the Artic so clearly the penguins are superior

Re: Dominant species? penguins or polar bears

Talking bout cats....bit OT but ....
Just been doing my weekly tidy/ hoover around the house.
Missed out last weekend as I was away.
Cat hairs everywhere!! and they're not even my cats. Gotta keep my bedroom door closed at all times when I'm not at home...but anyway...to get to the point. I accidently sucked one of the mice into the vacuum machine....does anybody out there have any experience in extracting mouse from machine....do you think I should phone Notruf?

Re: Dominant species? penguins or polar bears

Such a dumb question; everybody knows polar bears can't grip the ice as well as Pingu & Co in the Antarctic and consequently fall off whereas penguins are less vulnerable to being upside down. Bears utilise gravity in the north but penguins feel unsettled being what is in effect upside down to them. This also explains why Australians in Europe are whiny and annoying. Have patience with them.

Re: Dominant species? penguins or polar bears

I'm amazed that it hasn't already been pointed out that polar bears don't eat penguins because they can't get the wrappers off.

Re: Dominant species? penguins or polar bears

No, you just don't get it. POLAR bears? They obviously have the same magnetic pole as Antarctica. Same poles on magnets repel each other and opposites attract. They keep trying to swim south, but when they go to sleep they are dragged back up north. Sheesh.

YUP!
Patently obvious when it's been pointed out.
Why didn't I think of that?
