| | Chances of getting a job in the US / Canada
I were just looking around the North American job market, saw several jobs that really interest me and i'm really thinking to apply to work there....what are the chances of getting a job in NA from abroad and any advice on specific agencies or headhunters in IT?
*I'm Non EU / Non OZ / Non NA

It's doable but probably highly unlikely at the moment unless your skills are very unique.
I've worked in the US in the past and up until a few years ago I was interested in possibly returning. Recently I've been looking but although I see suitable positions, many are looking for local candidates only. Some of these are for senior positions where 3 or more years ago they would be looking for the best person for the job, no matter where they were located. A month or so ago I saw a Director level position with a company in San Francisco that said they would only consider local candidates. So they would not even consider candidates from within California or the rest of the US. And I believe that is due to the high level of unemployment in the US at the moment. If they can find someone without having to sponsor them for a visa or pay relocation they will.
But it really does depend on your field and what skills are needed. It doesn't hurt to apply sometimes. And I have no idea about Canada.

You have to have very specifics and rare skills to get into Canada in this field. IT people are raining down the sky in huge flood.
