things that go bump in the night

no, and I don't mean your other half on a 3:00am bathroom call

I mean Ghosties

mrs. and I watched a show last night about the most haunted village in England, and the most haunted house ( strangely the house is not in that village )

so, todays questions Dear Campers..

do you believe in ghosts?

have you ever met or "experienced" one?

I've never seen ghosties, but I've seen one or two goolies. (Or should that be ghoulies?)

I saw a ghost one once. It was totally freaky. But even so I don't believe in ghosts.

That would be pluckley? I used to live very close to that village, we often went to the pub etc and strolled around late at night in the village, never heard or saw anything. Still, the locals make a killing on halloween

no, it was a place called Prestbury, Gloucestershire.

I suppose every county has a claim to "most haunted"

mrs. and I once toured the most haunted castle ruin in Devon.

Re: things that go bump in the night

Hmmm I used to live in a house (back home that is) that had been owned by some druglords, house was amazing but the energy super spooky.
My mom saw a white dog at the bottom of the stairs once, no we did not have a dog nor was the neighbor's dog at our place. She also talked to someone who she thought was the maid, just to find out minutes later that the maid had not been home that day and I saw a man behind me in the mirror...my baby sister was terrorized and usually scared but what she called bad angels...
I believe in energy, not sure about ghosts

Re: things that go bump in the night

just to go on record in my own thread...

a few years ago we were staying in an old Inn in West Wycombe and in the middle of the night mrs. G said she felt someone pull her toe.

I swear it wasn't me, it must have been a very naughty ghost.

Re: things that go bump in the night

We had an 'odd' experience in a hotel once, Eastwell manor (http://www.eastwellmanor.co.uk/) we stayed in one of the suites in the main house, had a fair bit to drink and went to bed.

When we got up in the morning the tray that had the kettle, teapot, cups, sweets etc - eg a big tray, with lots of things on it, had been moved from off the side board onto the floor right in the middle of the doorway into the bathroom, perfectly, so nothing had fallen over, or spilt. I didn't do, my wife didn't do it, and if anyone had come into the room during the night to do it they didn't wake us up!
