Ban bump stocks, they’ll use automatic weapons
Ban automatic weapons, they’ll tool up with semi automatic weapons
Ban all guns (which we’ve established will never happen) and people will run people down in trucks. Or use bombs, or whatever.

That’s the point in the in the Europe comparison, if people want to to commit mass murder, they’ll find a way of doing it.

You need to step up your analysis a bit; the last one in the list in the link you posted about ISIS showed 16 people killed but they were all ISIS members killed by security forces!

You have to, because if you include all mass shootings (+4 deaths) you find that most are carried out with pistols, or illegal weapons (try controlling them), are gang related and are not carried out by white nationalists. And then you find that more people are shot in a week in Baltimore than you'd care to mention.

So you're comparing an organised terrorist group with lone wolf crazy people who decide to go on a shooting spree. Good job. How many mass shootings have there been in Europe that weren't committed by terrorist organisations, compared to the US?

Why not compare the total number of people killed by American or NATO armed forces to the number of mass shootings in the US?

Indeed, add to that the title of the thread is " A shooting just happened" and ISIS rarely use guns!

Plus the elephant in the room is that there is no evidence that most of the attacks were really by ISIS; the IRA were much better at this because they claimed responsibility a short time before an attack, not jumping on the band wagon after the event.
