I have calmed down now . Your last three were a bit lively, even for my rock tastes

Those are the mellow ones!

But to compliment it, and spurred by vwild1's post of Wall of Voodoo, here's a cover of their classic Mexican Radio from Zurich's own Celtic Frost:

(it really is worth a listen)

Re: the cover thread

it never occurred to me what critics meant when they described Radiohead's music as wrist-cutting. this clip, though, did conjure me images of my own funeral, and reminded me of Erasures "Safety in numbers."

Quote:
Were you to weep and lie soft at my feet
Then you'd wash all my troubles away
And imagine the host of angels around me
That give me the courage to die
morbid stuff!

Yes I posted it on the Dead Michael Jackson thread...I suppose that it was slightly off-topic

...But then maybe not considering that Nick Cave was a huge Michael Jackson fan. Here is his personal homage at Glastonbury:

I think that Sinead could make almost any song sound good. She has a fantastic voice.

Probably not strictly a cover, but interesting anyway. Frank Black does "Where is my mind" with Placebo.
