Re: Your favorite cover band?

I used to be rather fond of Dread Zeppelin... not sure if I'd still enjoy them without the enhancement, though...

They are an insult to rock music
I saw this cover band at the Cambridge Rock Festival a couple of years ago.

Re: Your favorite cover band?

I used to like a Liverpool cover band called The Beatles before they started doing their own stuff -- strange modern, experimental stuff.

Re: Your favorite cover band?

The Animal Boys are great (from Biel I think), who play Ramones covers.

But my favorite cover band has to be Hayseed Dixie:

...pure genius!

Re: Your favorite cover band?

I think it's from the late 90's or something, but although there are good covers everyday, I remember this song absolutely crank'n when I was at Uni

although, classically, anyone who opens their success with a cover doesn't usually go on to make much else

Blue Monday by Orgy (originally by New Order)

Muse's cover of Nina Simones 'Feeling Good' has been voted the best cover of all time in an online poll for NME

I tend to agree
