Why domestic violence victims don't leave...

In light of the post by TuxedoPants last week, I thought that this TEDx talk provided interesting insights.
It helped me understand how a close friend of mine stayed in an emotionally abusive relationship for way too long.

Hi Mag

Could you edit your post and encase only the portion after v= in the Youtube URL ?
( or maybe a mod could do it instead )

[youtubetag]snPdEl0Duoo [/youtubetag] where snPdEl0Duoo is the portion after v=

Re: Why domestic violence victims don't leave...

Charles Saatchi cautioned for assaulting wife, Nigella Lawson ("Mr Saatchi had reportedly said the photos in the Sunday People showed "a playful tiff".")

"Before marrying the famous chef Charles Saatchi was married to Kay Saatchi. Kay was granted a divorce on the grounds of his unreasonable behaviour" (Daily Mail)
"Charles is a lovely man", says friend Sir Ian Bowler

If this is what he does in public, presumably "unreasonable behaviour" even covers what he does in private.
