Excellent idea - I've always been a bit unimpressed with the artwork found on the majority of the credit cards in Switzerland. But allowing customers to choose some funky designs is a great step forward. Pity it is unlikely happen here though...

DanielL - since you mention your avatar - yes it is much nicer than your previous ones, but avatars which are animated should really have a minimum amount of animation. Flat Eric is an excellent idea, but the head banging part might get a bit tiresome on the eye after a while...
