Sending a suitcase from US to Switzerland.

Does anyone know an inexpensive way to send a big suitcase from the US to Switzerland ? Most companies I looked up charge a lot of money for that kind of service. Thanks for any information.

Re: Sending a suitcase from US to Switzerland.

Are you talking about a big suitcase loaded with stuff, or an empty one that just happens to be large? If it's empty, no reason you can't do as Sbrinz suggests. If it's full and heavy, compare the costs of postage vs. bringing with you as luggage on the plane on your next trip from there to here.

Re: Sending a suitcase from US to Switzerland.

I'm actually looking to send 2 x full 32kg suitcases in the other direction - i.e. to NYC from Zurich and just want to see if there's any new info out there. Aside from taking it there myself on the next trip, does anyone have any tips on how I might do this? Thanks!

Why don't you start by telling people what companies and methods you have actually look at?
