Special Needs? Tired of the 'system'? UBUNTU

http://www.ubuntuparty.org.za/p/about.html

I, like my children have special needs, and so does/did my father at least. With my striving for answers to 'why' all the time and solitary interest in the sciences, music and anything earthly 'grounding' always have been my retreats.

My children are showing similar signs and are now being referred to a specialist for advice and hopefully, support.

My husband and I have a growing realisation of the illusion of the world that has been painted for us, and know it is neither healthy nor right. In my ongoing quest for answers of truth I find myself here, looking forward to seeing Michael Tellinger, (founder of current UBUNTU movement/party in SA -)on 5th-6th April in Zurich, to see if we can start an UBUNTU based community here in Bern.

Optimistic!

From Michael Tellinger:
What is Ubuntu?

"Ubuntu (Zulu/Xhosa pronunciation: [¨ɓ˙ntʼ˙]; English: /uˈbʊntuː/ oo-BUUN-too) or "uMunthu" (Chichewa) is an African ethic or humanist philosophy focusing on people's allegiances and relations with each other. The word ubuntu has its origins in the Bantu languages of southern Africa. The philosophy, however, is mirrored in cultures around Africa and the world.
Our vision is all about our growth as a species, integrity, honour, enlightenment, human consciousness and the individual roles we play in spreading this consciousness to others in South Africa, and to every other human being around the world.
I have to emphasize that we are inherently a liberation movement of unity consciousness, disguised as a political party. Not because I wanted to get into politics, but because this platform gives us protection against exploitation by security forces, and it presents our movement with the same rights as those who rule us today and make decisions on our behalf. It also creates a level of credibility with those who may still frown upon our utopian vision.
We will stay in integrity and honour, share relevant information with everyone, allowing them to reach their own conclusions.
If you live outside of SA, I encourage you to do the same wherever you are, and let us build international highways of this new unity consciousness on credible platforms that infiltrate the financial and political arenas, and fill their hearts with love.
You will receive a weekly email with basic information and updates on our activity and growth. Please share this with others wherever you can. This is going to be an exciting journey of change and we should all collectively visualise our rapid growth to fill the hearts and minds of all global citizens with this new vision of a united world, devoid of financial tyranny and economic slavery. A new world of unity and abundance on all levels of society."

He believes it may be difficult here in Switzerland, because of the hold the system has on such a country - but that it is possible. So I am optimistic - I have to be!

Seek the truth - don't just believe hearsay!

Garden-variety socialism packaged with a new name/spokesperson/website.

Thanks, but no thanks.

I'm not trying to be cheeky but why is that special needs? It sounds pretty normal to me.

I think the user name in itself is indicative that the poster is 'special'.

I prefer Windows for most stuff, but have several computers with UBUNTU, Mint, or Raspbian.

Thanks Lou - maybe you should speak with my Kindergarten teacher, otherwise she has an issue with my son then! But she thinks he is special needs, and so do I. We are making the specialist appointment. Homeschooling is apparently frowned upon here in CH.

Nice to know someone is actually serious on here, thanks.

Be careful - you are supposed to be a moderator, not pointing fun. I came here for help about homeschooling, and this is what I end up with. Thanks for the tomfoolery, only. And you moved my thread, which was important as it was a lead from homeschooling.

I see why you have many groans now.

Fight? You mean violence?
Bread? I make great bread, by hand.
I guess you worry about your worldy possessions?

The more you have the more you are worried about and get stressed about. The less you have, the less you worry.

You were joking with your reply, right?

Bullshit.

I've been poor. I didn't like it very much. Now I have things, my life is better.

All your fancy philosophy can go hang. Try to take my things away and I will fight you.

I think you'll find that most people in the world feel the same about their possessions.

Moderators are members of EF, too, and are entitled -- and encouraged -- to continue to express their personal opinions. This is no socialist Paradise. Yet. But if we all unite ...

To be honest, your home schooling emphasis is kind of lost in your opening post. As far as I can see, your post is promoting some Utopian guy called Tellinger who wants to import an oddly-named philosophy to Switzerland -- or perhaps impose it upon the Swiss.

There's no "perhaps" about it.

People who insist that we should all "share" tend to resort to force when they realise that most people are quite fond of their possessions after all.

I despair of you lot sometimes, this could have been an interesting discussion about an alternative philosophy on how to live. I guess that's not going to happen.

I was serious about my question, I am curious what this has to to with education or "special needs". also, I am curious why anyone who believes that money is unnecessary would have a "Shop Online" section of their website?
