It snowed

Jesus snowbording Christ, it has snowed on Malta, real white snow, for the first time since 1962 and only the fifth time in the last 200 years, white stuff did come down in 1999 but that was hail and people only mistook for it snow.
I am freezing my goolies off, brrrrr time to break out the Glühwein.

Amazing, but possible Dec/Jan of course. I mean much of the Maghreb in December, January and February is snow covered, and parts of the Atlas stay snow-covered into March
