Re: Who should replace Jeremy Clarkson?

Clarkson IS Top Gear.

No Clarkson, move it to the slot behind Eastenders.

Jay Leno, Jodie Kidd and Guy Martin would be a good team in my opinion.

Re: Who should replace Jeremy Clarkson?

I think Guy martin would be great, but think we may need an elder statesman. Many may not know him, but Harry Metcalfe was editor of Evo, is a farmer, has a garage filled with Countach, Integrale, Zonda et al and is an alround cool guy. Jason Plato?

Poor you if you think that.

"Evans will be joined by F1 driver David Coulthard, German racing driver Sabine Schmitz and journalist Chris Harris when the programme launches next May."

Still, things don't seem to be going particularly smoothly at the moment.

So with any luck the whole thing will collapse and we'll lose this rubbish.

Believe I would have avoided it if I could, but the OH wanted to see it. Luckily I missed the first part so only had to put up with the second.

Give me my Boxing Day/New Year's Day horse racing and the New Year's Day concert from Vienna and I'm happy. You can forget the rest of the so-called great programmes they show over Christmas/New Year.

Jeremy Clarkson is extremely annoying but in a funny way.
Chris Evans is just annoying.
I think they should have started a new formula because now everyone will be comparing only.

Tiff, Quentin and Vikki might have worked.

Fifth Gear is enjoying a re-run, and has been bulk bought (it appears) by ITV, on ITV 4.

Re: Who should replace Jeremy Clarkson?

I'm quite looking forward to seeing how it all pans out for me win-win.

The old trio will have a new revamped show which was getting needed to be honest the last Top Gear series was starting to need change.

On the other hand more intrigued than anything to see how Chris will fair with the show. Sabine was funny when she was featured previously and DC have no issues with always loved his F1 coverage.

F1 will watch on CH4.

Keep telling myself - I love change. I love change. Really I do
