How and where - legal action against a Turkish airline

Hi -

I'm seeking some helpful guidance here, PLEASE!!

I was shafted by a Turkish airline back in May this year and after writing them without success, I was to take legal action. The long short is that I booked and paid for flights, and they were all cancelled erroneously.

The claim amount is roughly CHF 3k and I'm prepared to pursue this because the case is rock-solid (in my objectove opinion) and it's become more about the principle.

I would really appreciate help with the following questions:
- How and where can I start legal proceedings against an airline based in Istanbul, while I'm in Zurich?
- Can anyone recommend a suitable lawyer/law firm for this type of case, and give me an idea of how the costs would be structured etc?

THANKS for your time!!

Far more details needed... flights cancelled on its own means nothing.. what happens afterwards is the important part

There are companies specialising in getting the ticket price back. For a fee of course.

Google for instance "flug ticket rückfordern"

No idea it they're any good:
For example www.flightright.de, www.ticketrefund.de

The booking was cancelled, or the flight cancelled?

Briefly "In Switzerland you can also contact our competent service. The FOCA has set up a phone line - +41 (0) 58 465 95 96 - for users for all general questions related to the right of passengers. She is on weekdays in the afternoon from 14 h to 16 h." might be your starting point..

I suspect you want damages, you won't get that just a full refund.
You need to read the terms & conditions of travel, they are not responsible for consequential losses, which in any case are unrelated to the cost of the ticket. Insurance is available for pretty much any risk on the Lloyds market subject to paying a premium. If you don't take insurance your self insured & must suffer your losses with a smile .
