Solo vacation

More specifically, a festival

Would you do it? If you have done it how did you find it?

If you had been invited to one festival where you would meet up with friends, but there was a different one with a better lineup you really want to go to but you'd be on your own... Which would you choose??

I have these options and I'm seriously considering the second one! Would it be brave or just silly

Re: Solo vacation

It'd be perfectly normal to go to either. So go to the one you prefer.

Re: Solo vacation

Go to the second one but don't get wasted and make yourself vulnerable.

Re: Solo vacation

I'd go for the one I would kick myself later if I didn't choose. Solo is fine sometimes, an opportunity to make new friends (if there is time).

Re: Solo vacation

Second one only if there is a way to come home safely at the end. Ie i wouldnt go somewhere by myself where i know i will be stranded in the middle of nowhere at night

I think you would be jolly brave. Be sure to ask your parents for permission first though!

Re: Solo vacation

Definitely the second - how annoying to be hanging out with a group being "hyper" (because that's what happens at a festival) about a line-up you coukd take or leave.

Make it an experience to remember for the music, and see if maybe you can lure someone else you know along? Safety is key
