Ayahuasca

Who has experienced this?? I did for the first time two weeks ago, here in Switzerland no less!

I am amazed at the profound positive effects it has had on me so far I am now super interested in it and a whole new outlook... Not many people I can relate to though, all my friends have had reactions ranging from highly amused curiosity to seemingly slightly uncomfortable! And none have any experience. Would love to hear from people who have, especially if uou did the whole amazon jungle version! Also would be interested to hear about long term benefits.

Pm me if you would prefer not to say on the thread 😉

More energy, better mood, sleeping really really well. Given up some unhealthy/pointless habits. More productive and more confident. Very interesting and exciting new concepts and ideas!

Of course, I don't know how much of this is just placebo at this early stage! Feel like it's not though!

Is it grown locally, or stolen from the Amazonian rain-forest?

Re: Ayahuasca

I know of Kamasutra. It provides me with sensual attainment and frees me spiritually.
Add couple of wine glasses and it can truly help me with picturing my purpose in life.

It doesn't matter as long as it's organic

Re: Ayahuasca

My mate's done it quite a few times when he lived in central and South America 2yrs ago. He'd be the first person to say it's not for everyone and rightfully illegal in most countries, because he's seen people really lose the plot after repeated use too close together.

I did magic mushrooms once back in the day, and it was an incredible experience that I can still remember like it was yesterday. I've never felt the need to repeat it the experience because a friend od'd on mushrooms and had to have his stomach pumped in hospital. Stupid beggar thought it would be fun to take mushrooms on Bonfire Night. It wasn't. He was terrified.

You do realise it's a strong mind-altering drug, right? Actually no, you probably don't.

Looking forward to your future posts after prolonged and repeated use.

PS: Getting counselling for your issues is safer.

Re: Ayahuasca

I was back home in Lima, Peru and did an Ayahuasca session. (4th time)

Its true is not for everyone, its a mind over body experience. Its like putting a mirror in front of you, looking at yourself and in most cases battling with your deepest thoughts and inside "demons".

Some people tend to loose it here, they cannot control there mind or others have been carrying phobias or big shocks for a long time, and in an ayahuasca state of mind is not easy to fight them, they tend to put a lot of resistance and in some cases turn into ugly visions.

Of course there is the other sign of the coin, when Ayahuasca stops teaching you and starts showing you. This is the hardest part, cause you need to break the mental stage and stop thinking.

When you reach this point, that is not easy, you go places and the experience can be life changing.

For the people that are attracted to this kind of experience, i highly recommend it, at least two sessions.

One to clean and the other one to really experience ayahuasca, but is not an every week or month or even year experience, unless you want to dedicate your life to that, we still have shit to do in the "real world" right? like paying taxes!

Cheers

Me too.
I thought at first it was some kind of martial art or yoga.

It actually sounds very scary. I think I'll stick with chocolate.

Re: Ayahuasca

The effects over the mind of ayahuasca sound a lot like the "magic" mushrooms which can be found in Europe and N America.

Unless this is an advert in disguise for South America(which it doesn't need as it's amazing as it is)...

One more thing: is the ayahuasca organic and does it come in pill form?

The drink tastes horrible, its a mixture between a vine and a plant.

Ayahusca the vine and Chacruna de plant. They work with each other. Ayahuasca contains the dmt and the chacruna helps the dmt to kick in.

You can say its similar to shroomsl the difference is the ceremony. Preparation after, avoiding meat and eating healthy for at least two weeks to clean yourself (be ready to puck a lot the first time). And the chaman that controls the session. Remember you are in a dark room with your eyes close, not at a live music festival.

Yes I do realise it is a strong medicine, I did kind of notice that when I took it! It is quite safe

I assume it's organic. The stuff we had was not in pill form it was genuine plant gunk shipped from the amazon! It tastes absolutely vile and it sticks a thick residue to your teeth, tongue and roof of mouth it is so so unpleasant to drink! I think it is possible to get the same effects in pill form but it's illegal; the plant gunk genuine article is legal because of religious/spiritual exemption... I think. Something like that!

Where in Switzerland? Doesn't seem like something that would be sold legally here.

Just curious.

I thought it was like burnt algae or something! thick as ketchup and sticky like honey, so bitter and grainy and bleurgh. Something about it reminded me of something thogh I cant think what! I don't know how that compares to fresh?? I've no idea how old ours was, or whether it had been frozen during shipping or anything??

It's a group that tours most of Europe, where legal anyway. Apparently it isn't in France or the UK, but it is here and they hold sessions in Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Austria and I think a couple of other countries. The retreat was in Valais

Edit I don't think technically they sell the medicine... They say the medicine is optional, but you pay for the retreat.

Re: Ayahuasca

Hello pixi b. I was wondering did you do it with Alberto's international group? I am looking to do ceremonies but with a different person or group in switzerland if you know of any? (by the way ayahuasca is legal in Switzerland.)

For anyone who wants to try this with Alberto's international group i strongly advise against. I done it a few times with different groups and i found Alberto's way of ceremony and product of low quality even though he somehow managed to create a huge following and movement it was really poor in comparison to the shamans and groups i did it with and his rates are way over the top of reasonable pricing. I mean the guy gives you a drink and plays music from a cd player and from time to time chants a few indian words and bangs his maracas and does not partake in the drinking of ayahuasca with you which i have never seen anyone giving it to me and not drinking except him. Also I find his teachings unhealthy, I would not recommend inexperienced people or anyone to listen to his preaching under the influence of ayahuasca!

if anyone knows of anyone else in switzerland who does the ayahuasca ceremonies i would appreciate if you could put me in contact so I can go. I can also advise of shamans in other countries.
