I love it too, once dated an Indian girl - went to several weddings together and loved trying to dance bhangra. It's an infectious dance
I bet! I actually know someone who married an Indian guy (they're both computer nerds to the core) and she really did the whole thing - bought herself proper costumes and force the other half to train together so at their wedding they could move "naturally" lol.. I could have never pictured her so exuberant before but she went "all Indian"!

Thanks FCBarca,wonderful, energising video!
With all those thigh movements, bhangra could perhaps become a good pre-ski-season workout.

I was writing in German, and my autocorrect got confused between the languages, and changed DANKE (= thank you) to DANCE. That made me smile. Seems they're the same thing in a way.

Stephen's 'dancersizing' is like a train wreck, you're stunned, a little horrified, but you CAN'T tear your eyes away.

Continuum - Dance short film and animation
Natalianne Boucher – graduation film in animation cinema at ENSAD (L'École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs), Paris.
Original music by Nodey.

I found the first section fascinating, though after that, unfortunately, the film loses impact with sections which fall rather flat by comparison

Those arcs of falling sand, though, in the first part, compel me to return, over and over. A very satisfying combination of techniques!

Re: Let's have a thread for Dance Videos

http://balletxtreme.com/videos/
An interesting group of videos using classical ballet moves, refreshingly combined.

Unfortunately, there isn’t one among them in which the music and the dancing seem to fit, conceptually. I found the music irritating, and it distracted me from enjoying the choreography, yet the latter was not sufficient to make it a good watch without any sound.

Why I am linking to them anyway? Well, the dance is too good for me to pass over, and perhaps someone with a different taste in sound would find the overall effect beautiful.
